The Municipality of San Rafael, Bulacan is this year’s Best E-LGU website for the municipal category in this year’s 10th Philippine Web Awards.

It was indeed timely for San Rafael as they just launched their website earlier this year. “It was not that easy”, according to Mr. Emmanuel San Roque, MPDC officer and who’s behind the whole idea of putting up the website. You can see the whole story here

San Rafael also won the Peoples Choice Award for having the most number of SMS and online votes.

The Provincial Government of Bulacan retains the title as they once again grabbed the Best E-LGU website for provincial category in this year’s 10th Philippine Web Awards brought by Media G8way Corp.. Bulacan was also consistent bagging the People’s Choice Award for again having the most number of SMS and online votes.

Next year, Bulacan aims for the first eLGU Hall of Fame Award which will be given to three-time consecutive winners under a particular category in the annual eLGU Search for Best Local Government Web Site.
